Employment  Program (EP)

A self-discovery method will be the foundation of our employment services program. The first step towards making significant decisions in life and at work is self-discovery. A person’s preferences, interests, motivators, and competencies form a crucial basis for effective career planning and job searching. As a result, the main goal of this employment assistance program is to assist participants in discovering, honing, and exhibiting the talents required for both work and long-term success.

We will work with families from different ethnic groups, mostly minorities. We offer coordination and connection to community services, help with employment and finding affordable housing, and connect to other community resources as needed. Most of our participants will be individuals who are facing different problems, including lack of employment skills, family violence, criminal background, mental health, homelessness, and language barriers. This program will help participants discover their inner potential and become familiar with the services available to them. We value our participants more because providing these types of services requires not only your time but also your full attention and emotional attachment

Our Employment Program offers the following

Career exploration

One-on-one consultation

Resume Preparation

Connecting to colleges and schools

Community Health  Education Program (CHEP)

Rays is committed to educating the community about health issues and the COVID-19 virus. We also connect participants to health community resources. We provide a health education program that is culturally relevant to East African communities. For instance, Somali people’s knowledge about health-related issues varies significantly depending on their level of expertise`, education, age, the environment in which they grew up, and how long they stayed in the United States. We believe that culture plays an important role in health education.

Therefore, our community health program is based on a holistic approach to responding to persistent gaps and disparities faced by communities of color. Our aim is always to provide services that provide coaching, promote family well-being, and promote a healthy and prosperous community. For this reason, our organization works with several medical providers and public health departments and stands to provide technical assistance in promoting health and well-being for disadvantaged communities in the United States and the Horn of Africa.
