Community Resources
Knowing what resources are available in the community can be very helpful to assist those who are in need more effectively. Public assistant services, employers, legal resources, educational and training institutions, healthcare facilities, and foundations can all be considered community resources. When assisting those who have obstacles in finding what works for them, we believe that the following important steps could be useful:
Conducting a holistic approach
Knowing what is important
What is a holistic approach?
A holistic approach is to provide support that looks at the whole person. Hence, it is crucial to remember that you and the person you are supporting will not always see things the same way. The ability to ask questions, check, and listen is essential for offering a comprehensive service. A person’s wellness is the main focus of a holistic approach. Our organization promotes eliminating barriers that affect health, education, and employment. We meet people where they are.
